Madinah Regional Municipality launched guidelines for commercial signage to transform the visual landscape of brands in the central area surrounding the Prophet’s Mosque. The goal was clear to create a professional and welcoming environment for the millions of visitors who arrive in holy city each year. Taiba Advertising was entrusted to develop comprehensive design and execution guidelines, manufacturing commercial signs to world-class standards that now serve as an official reference for advertising agencies across the region.

The program was developed in close collaboration with a specialized committee of experts and engineers from Madinah Regional Municipality. Every detail was covered, from installation and manufacturing to sector-specific symbols for restaurants, gift shops, perfumeries, dates, food products, hotels and more. The result was a dramatic reduction in visual distortion, with shop identities now clearly communicated in both Arabic and English through standardized icons that transcend language barriers.
