Improving the Visual Scene in the Central Area of Medina

The initiative improves the visual appearance of commercial shops in the central area, enhancing the experience of visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah Regional Municipality launched it, and we developed design and execution guidelines for signs and manufactured them to special standards that other advertising agencies can use as a reference.

The guideline for commercial signs was developed in collaboration with a committee of experts and engineers from Madinah Regional Municipality. It included instructions for installation, manufacturing, and the use of symbols for all sectors present in the central area, such as restaurants, gift shops, perfumeries, dates, and food products.

This initiative has reduced visual distortion and facilitated understanding of the type of shop through its name in Arabic and English, as well as the symbolic icons that appeal to all languages.
